A sloppy rendition of an otherwise great vintage and beautiful climat
Wine was a bit golden in color for it's age, but was not oxidized, but I don't think a defect was the issue. I have 2 more bottles (because I didn't want to pass up a Genevrieres from 09 for $50) so maybe it was a one off, but I think not..we will see.

Appearance: Clear, pale canary, medium intensity and extract, thin watery edge A&B: honey, honeysuckle, butter, butterscotch, citrus, lemon, pineapple - adequate and fine. Rather complex Taste: med dry, smooth, lively acid, medium flesh and medium-full body, generous alcohol, balanced tannins, powerful intensity and elegant quality, Correct balance with pleasant aftertaste having long length Overall - very good+ wine, excellent with savory/seafood

Premox. Not completely gone, but not enjoyable. Pity.

Fine Vines Fall Grand Tasting (OneSixtyBlue, Chicago IL): nose: there is some toast on the nose along with roasted nuts, oranges and citrus tones. Nice depth with a good fruit core.
taste: medium/full bodied with crisp medium+ acidity. Balanced with good tones of roasted nuts, oranges, and citrus tones.
overall: this needs some time to round into form. Well balanced with the toast not being prominent on the palate.
