  Dark, dark red. Minty, licorice, chocolate, ripe plummy nose, with dill and vanilla. Medium tannin, medium acids. Very powerful plum and cherry fruit contend with significant American oak flavors; though the wine is sound, its sourness leads to a finish that'is quite drying. Tonight's neighborhood cellar cull party continues in search of a good wine that outstrips its owner's hope. Not this one.
