Deep ruby colour. Lush red fruit on the nose with lots of vibrancy. Lovely red and black fruit on the palate with cedar and tarry notes. The wine is in beautiful equilibrium. Tastes like it could still last here for a few years. Great wine.

Had a few bottles of these and thought that back on 2018 it was hitting its peak.. I stand corrected. Opened the last bottle today and it was a rock star.
It’s notes are absolutely in harmony... it’s strongest flavors are berry and plum with a nice hint of oak but still strong on blackberry and a hint of leather. Absolutely outstanding. Absolutely surprised us ... this is one of those underrated wines so enjoy! Cheers, sante or Prost!

Burgundy in colour with aged edges. Still has fruit albeit more grown up. Does still have zesty acidity and alcohol balance. One that needed to have been stored appropriately, this really matters past 6 or 7 years. Big mouthfeel with some pomegranate stew. Cedary tail with a fairly long finish. In its drinking window and definitely a food wine. Very good.

I'd echo some of the other reviewers. While the fruit was still enjoyable and didn't necessarily seem tired, it would have been better a few years ago. Was a nice example of older vines from Portugal. Would get again but with a little less age.

Nice long finish. Great mouth feel for a European wine.
