Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 82 points

  • Clean and shiny high intensity garnet with ruby rim, long and dense tears. Clean medium+ intensity nose, notes of baked plums, somewhat raisined, hints of sweet spices and herbs. Sweet, high body and tannins, dense, medium-acidity, wide, raisined notes and some red fruit in the mouth. Medium duration and intensity afertaste. Not bad at the mouth, but the compote notes in the nose are a bit overwhelming. In any case it have no defects and it's drinkable as curiosity, something between an ordinary Porto Ruby and a cheap Pedro Ximenez.
