  • With an open nose of raspberry, black cherry, beets and freshly turned earth, this wine represents all that is best about Pinot Noir. Maraschino cherry and cranberry flavours dominate, with subtle nuances of mushroom and vanilla on the palate, while soft tannins provide a frame for the mouth filling, round texture. Earth and mushroom continue their interplay with a well balanced acidity leading to a long, supple finish. 20% of the grapes were dried in the appassimento method prior to pressing, then the wine was aged in French oak for 13 months.

  • Wine seems to have lost some of its ruby colour and seems to be passing its prime. Would recommend drinking now or risk losing the wine.

  • Excellent; ruby red; barnyard on the nose and fruity cherry and smoke flavours. Love this type of pinot and this winery is one of my favourites in Ontario. Cheers!
