  Outstanding wine, drunk same night with a 2007 and they were almost similar. 2006 vintage "won" because it was little bit better on the nose.

  Of the modern and forward style. Good wine in general but this is not a Greek wine in anyway and falls under the no tipicity style. Nose has quite a bit of oak, ripe fruit and with a nice spicy edge. On the palate the modernity of it takes over, the oak, the extraction and that attempt for early, instant gratification. Its a good, well made wine but just a bit generic and blunt. 88-89. Really this is a fashion wine rather than an attempt to make something interesting and given the guys at Alpha know how to make a good wine this could even be called disappointing. But we guess the need to make a living too and follow the consumer.

  Complex nose with dark mature berries and roasted nose. Evident spicy notes.
