VORS and Rare Osborne-Domecq Sherry Tasting plus Dinner at Surtopía (Bodega Santa Cecilia - Madrid): Tints of varnishes but with freshness on the nose. It also keeps memories of China ink and could even have a citrus note, of an old lemon. It could even lead to be a Palo Cortado in style. In the mouth it is clearly thicker than last 51-1. It burns my esophagus a bit but I have no complaints. Borja osborne recognised 2% of PX into this stuff.

Seepage on inside of foil and a soaked, soft cork. Cooked. There were some nice woody, nutty, focused flavors and some depth, but the alcohol burned and the wine was dull and unpleasant to drink. Damn shame.

Solera named in 1903 after Antonio. 22% alc. Bottle #287. Aromas and flavors of butter, cream, toffee, flowers, and old wood. Dry, tastes of age, with fabulous bitter orange notes.

Walnut, orange peel, dried fruit, spices on the nose. Savoury, bright, very intense on the palate. Long finish. Very good. 90-92

No PX here, it feels really old. Bitter and woody, in a good way, and very demanding and serious on the palate. Maybe my favorite of the range.
