Stood up for a couple of days. Pulled the cork 4 hrs. in advance.
Very full color with slight bricking. Rich and a bit gamey (not stinky) in the nose. Full and soft on the palate, but still with a tannic spine. Seems to be in a good spot.

(Clair Bruno Marsannay Les Grasses Têtes) Deep cherry red. The nose is sweet with some toasty oak and cooking red cherries. The palate is surprisingly fat and sweet. Nice acidity, well mannered tannins and lovely long fruit - red and black. This is really excellent. I expect that the oak (which is very well done) will soon start to add to the complexity - I bought a few more of these after this tasting.

This is a lovely wine probably at its peak.
