  After a Tempranillo feast I wanted to continue with this grape at weekend. A blend with 5% CS aged in FR oak. Deep garnet. Medium intensity aroma of smoky plums, dried cherries, forest floor, leather, tar, smoke, cold cuts, tobacco, hints of sweet spices. Medium body, palate showcases quite lean but focussed and massive earthy flavours of smoke, raw and charred meat, dry leaves with hints of spices and some dried fruits lurking in the background. It finishes smoky and earthy with well integrated grainy tannins.
