This was a very solid wine with excellent QPR, but I was not as high on it as some of the other TN's indicate. In Appearance, the wine was clear and a deep ruby that was consistent right to the rim and showed thick legs. The Nose was clean and developing with medium intensity of aromas of black fruit, some sweet spice, and a bit of menthol. Overall though, I did not find the nose that complex. The Palate was dry with medium+ body, medium alcohol balanced with vibrant medium+ acidity and medium tannins. The flavor profile was about medium in intensity but showed a bit more complexity than the nose would indicate. Flavors of dark fruits like cassis, blackberry and pomegranate with a touch of smoke and earth and a touch of eucalyptus on what was a medium+ length finish that lingered pleasantly. Overall, a very good wine and an excellent buy for the price. This is drinking now though, so don't wait. The tannins are quite soft and will not age that well.

Great QPR. I was really surprised by this Cab. I don't usually look in the Spanish section for Cabs. I liked this a lot, especially for the price. Deep dark purple color. The nose didn't reveal much about the mouthful of flavor I was about to get, but did indicate dark fruit and spice. Giant mouthful of fruit and spice with juicy blackberry and blueberry pie filling, and baked black licorice. Nice spicy profile with black pepper, some clove and spicy chili peppers. I detected some mineral and earth too like dried leaves, smoke, and dusty leather. This drank better than many California Cabs that sell for twice the price. For $13/bottle, I'd buy this all day.

Delicious. Spicy, rhubarb, licorice & heavy dark fruit with a long finish. Some undertone I couldn't put my finger on, maybe menthol, spearmint, or green pepper? Such a great deal for $13, would buy regularly for twice the price but glad I don't need to!

Decent QPR. First taste was not good. Let it opened up for a bit and it did improve.

Once again, really good, especially for the price. Tasting consistent with prior note.
