Monthly Tasting Group HWS #085; Spain: Ribera del Duero. (by EvA): Complex bouquet with different flavors with some more airtime. First dark fruits, chocolate, a touch of celery, metal and bell pepper, later also some pleasant barnyard. Same on the palate plus some red fruits as well. Really nice freshness in the finish together with some chocolate and bitterness. Really nice wine. 89 - 90

smells of heavy spices and black pepper. Little jam in smell roast meat. Taste tannic, spicy but not overly, plum not too jammie raisin makes it pretty easy. Not too sweet but very well balanced.
