Really liked this wine, wow! Was very smooth with lots of complexity. Black fruits and some earthiness and some black pepper. Still a more structure to age and glad I have more. Would have been nice to see how it would have developed overnight but could not stop drinking it.

Wines from the west side of Paso have developed a style over the last few years that is big, bold and, i think, beautiful. Saxum, Linne Calodo, Booker, and this wine, Torrin have all stylistically paved the way for this region with much of the fruit coming from the James Berry Vineyard. Lovely ripe fruit with a backbone that is sophisticated and complex. The wine was better on day 2 suggesting a long life ahead. This style will certainly not please everyone but if you like shiraz from the barossa, red from the south of France or Spain you will be enamored.

Brillant wine! Wonderful drinking window. Dark fruits that play the best damn hide and seek and here I am with each sip. Well integrated on all sides (front, middle, and finish). I don't believe that holding will significantly improve this juice. An on the map bottle for Torrin!

Spectacular. A fruity nose that does not portend the beauty of this wine. Incredibly clean favors of plums and chocolate that sails on so smooth and long on the finish. Love it.

This close to perfection. Got better with air. Reidel syrah glass. Very similar to saxum but more drinkable.
