– tasted a single glass non-blind over approx. 10 minutes – – 100% late-harvest Viognier –
Kumquat, honey and straw on the Nose. Palate is medium-full bodied, with flavors of honey and orange oil. This is not overdone, and the 13.3% alc. is not noticeable. Nicely balanced with good acidity, but not enough to lead me to believe this will age well. Wish this were cheaper than $30 per 375mL, as it does not compete with other sweet wines in that price range.
