Still quite tannic, but after several hours of air, it was open for business this evening. Served in Zalto burg glasses. Color was bright red and brown, yet very translucent. Notes of asphalt and dried cherries. Very classic Piedmonte flavors of leather, tobacco, earth and some rose. Plenty of dark cherry unripened fruit, refined with minerality. We absolutely loved it!
