Nice low cost Malbec spicy plum aroma drinks nice with earthy taste. Not too sweet, may need to age a little since there is the slightest hint on yeast.

color: purple velvet x red ruby; nose: musty barnyard cherry; taste: bright plum jam, light-to-medium mouth feel, tasty pepper-chalk finish of short-to-medium duration; overall: barely ordinary (fake-tasting and thin) value-priced ($9) malbec -- a step above plonk, OK for weeknights or not-serioius events -- but, for about the same price, I greatly prefer Navarro Correas as tastier and more refined. If you believe life is too short for "meh" wines, you'll pick something else.
6/7/11 - revisit (because I bought two bottles last winter): no better now than my previous description above. The taste is green and chalky. "Let's move on," as G. Vaynerchuk likes to say.
