Cab blend with Tempranillo, Syrah, and Merlot. Soft tannins, a wine still having character and tasting of ripe red fruit and a lead pencil minerality. A forgotten cellar shelfie from the K&L Signature Red club that has withstood the test of time.

Delicious aged Spanish red! Essentially Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep red colour and intense black fruit on the nose. Additional scents if oak, blackcurrent, and developing forest floor notes add into a lovely and alluring sip. The palate is perfectly developed with soft tannins, full body and expressive notes from the nose. Complexity and some length complete this lovely bottle.

I should have followed my fellow CT's advice and decanted, but instead I did a PnP and the tannins were ultra fierce. Don't touch this for two more years at least. I can't even give it a rating.

PnP through the vinturi. Left it in the glass for 30 minutes. In the glass: Almost black magenta, super pigmented, decent legs. On the nose: Hot charcoal & dark cherries, spice. In the mouth: full mouth feel, concentrated dark cherries on the tongue, cassis, charcoal, strong tannin grip, long dry finish. Even with 30 minutes in the glass, this needs to be decanted longer. Tannins are still a little too prominent, the drinking window can go longer to let the tannins smooth a bit. Overall, a big red blend, lots of concentration, lots of fruit. Its all good! Should see if there is any left. :)

Deep, dark color. Some sediment in the glass but a good drink. Let it breathe for an hour.
