  Not sure a better QPR exists. Incredible complexity with ripe plums, stewed tomatoes, olives, eucalyptus and myriad herbs and spices with a nice beam of acid and tannin still present. Ridiculously peppery, spicy and gamey nose - what fun!

  Been 8 years since my last review. I'm amazed how well this has aged.. excellent, well balanced. Wish i had more.

  Hmmm, I think this has gone backwards since my last bottle. Quite a lot of alcoholic heat on its own, but calms down in the presence of a hearty stew.

  For me, this is too ripe and alcoholic, though it is not super heavy. It has very nice flavor and, if you are into the newer-style CDP (Parkerized, 2007 style) you will love this, at it is similar but with more pure fruit and not quite as heavy.
