{magnum} In a really great spot just now, showing a nice balance of of freshness and maturity. More medium than full-bodied, this was a wonderful companion to pan-seared duck breast and puréed parsnips. Red currants, loam, cherries and raspberries, with acids that are just now beginning to show some dominance over the fruit, so probably a good time to drink up. That said, in this format, it will last another 5-7 years, though I'm not sure it will be more complete than it is currently. recommended
Served non-blind. Purchased on release, with vg cork/fill. Be sure to decant for sediment.

Tasted blind in a social setting paired with Wagyu ribeyes. Double decanted 1-2 hours before consumption. Ruby color. This does not show as much age as the Wild Boar Vineyard. Lots of nice secondary aromatics. I also picked up cassis and licorice. the wine is medium to full bodied. The tannins are plush and velvety. The wine turns just a little overly acidic on the finish.

Still tight upon opening. The second day this wine relaxed and the nose was perfect. Drinking well with good fruit and vanilla and a nice kick of spice on the finish

Soft tannins and nice fruit, but fading. Drink soon.

Dark red, popped & poured, fairly closed. Opened a bit with decanting but not impressive nose. Some cherry and leather. Soft tannins.
