Dark red in the glass with significant bricking. Black cherry, musky, soft prune nose. On the palate, there is ripe plum, prune, soy, balsa wood, spice, and acid. Balanced. Barolo-esque. Needs food. First of three bottles. Drink up.

darkish color but with some brick in the red/purple, nose is cherry, caramel/oak, and some greenish element (brussel sprouts?), palate is cherries and some residual oak, something missing (acid?) to keep it lively so a little flat... not bad but not buying at $55

Excellent aged burgundy drinking real well right now. Heavy barnyard, but missing that funky dirty socks nose and is replaced with a nose of pencil lead and old leather chair. The mid palette is full and rich of flavors most notably raspberries and portrays a silkiness that comes from a well aged burgundy. Drink by 2016.
