Full-bodied white, with a big nose of browning lemons. Lots of citrus flavours too; rich and phenolic for texture, with a custard quality emerging on the finish. Sits surprisingly towards the front of the tongue. I wanted to really like this, but it was a bit patchy somehow. I have more confidence with Eden-labelled Rieslings than just Barossa, I must say. Will certainly hold; no harm in trying again in 5 years.
