Some nice signs of age. Medium gold. Day bright. Refined nose of dark tropical fruit, vanilla, dark honey, toffee, and a unique orange creamsickle play. Palate is rich and well balanced. More tropical fruit, cantaloupe, tangerine, burnt caramel and more oak. Medium long finish. Well polished and showing well at this age. Surprisingly tasty.

Distinct chlorine on the nose. Not much fruit coming through, more minerality and stone than I expected. Lightly oaked which was nice, but was hoping for more fruit. Definitely not worth the price tag.

Not a flawed wine - but I just did not care for it. Very light in color. A lot of citrus fuits and acidity on the palate. Tasted blind I would have guessed this to be a Sauvignon Blanc. For people who despise oaky and buttery Cali Chards give this a shot. I just found it too simple and one-dimensional.

Got to drink a white wine because my wife's best friend was home for the holidays and she likes white wines, whereas my wife drinks just reds. This paired very well with the shrimp cocktail and baked haddock. We compared this bottle to a 2005 Stags Leap Winery and there was a big difference. This had more body and slightly more oak. The 05 was lighter with more citrus.
