Last time I enjoyed this was eight years ago; seems to be drinking beautifully right now. Decanted and enjoyed with chicken stir fry. Clear medium ruby color and medium body. Expressive, balanced, structured, and lengthy. Spicy red cherry, tart raspberry juicy strawberry, crunchy forest floor, and mineral laden, red stone. Soft tannin and medium plus acidity creates a slightly tart mouthfeel with a long finish. Very, very good quality Village wine, with a great QPR. Should drink well for another 4-5 years, no signs of fading. Still 92 points and a style I find appealing.

Found this to be austere and reluctant to give any fruit on the nose, just a faint funky strawberry. Compared to other reviews, I'm going to hope it's a"bad bottle variation" here. I hope the next one is better. Awkward palate as well. High minerality and acidity that did not lend itself to Pinot Noir as I know it.

Classic burg color. Sweet cherries on the nose. Very good balance of terroir flavor! More cherries.....good acidity. Since I bought on sale last year.....an excellent QPR.
