What a great QPR. I love this wine. There is a little bit of bottle variation, however I like all of the different "versions" so far. Just a good everyday quaffer!

Picked up another case of 375's of this beauty. First bottle had a little petroleum on nose when cold, disappeared as it warmed in glass. Very nice quaffer and excellent with food as well. Less than $5 for 375's! Great deal!!

No new score, but this bottle had a heavier dose of butteriness that I haven't come across in this wine before. Perhaps this has gone through a bit of secondary malolactic fermentation while in the bottle? Still a very enjoyable bottle for the money.

Blind Tasting for Doug's Somm Exam Nose: chalk dust, fruit candies and most obviously, candied orange peel. Maybe a bit of pineapple too. Super fruity. Palate: same candied fruits. well integrated. Finish is short, though. Sour candy on the finish is a tad too sour, but otherwise, this is a nice wine. Super deal for $10. I will buy more. 24 hours later: orange peel has dissapeared on the nose, sadly. Now simple pineapple and lemon. Still a rich mouthfeel with finish of tart lemon plus additional lemon peel. Nice wine on day two, though lacking a bit of the 'oomph' that made it special yesterday.

Wow, what a qpr! Great deal considering the value of $ and how good this wine is. Looking for more. Very refreshing for a midweek summer quaffer.
