Gamy, plum bouquet. Rich dark fruit entry. Still a little backward at this stage. Good grip in mid-palate and medium-long finish. Good depth. Could use 3+ more years of age.

Decanted 1 hour. This wine is really starting to enter its ideal drinking window - palate has lots of ripe deep black cherries with lots of fresh acidity and a gentle tannic grip. Violets, lavender and a real lift to wine - long persistence. Very good and drinking now-2030.

Decanted 30 minutes. Starting to show a little age on the rim. Ripe, intense nose with brambles, light roses and some faint aniseed - also showing some secondary sous-bois notes. Palate is excellent - really deep bramble fruits, gentle fennel & rosemary; very fine integrated tannins and some light acidity. Excellent balance and a soft, supple wine. Starting to enter its secondary phase. Very fine. Drink now-2026.

Vraiment impresionnant.
