Attractive nose of blackberry, raspberry, broiled meats and soy. On the palate this is medium bodied, with well integrated tannins. There is good weight and depth here although it is not showing much complexity yet.

Tasted over 3 hrs -med dark red minimal clearing -initial funk blows off to reveal low-key iron black cherry -med acidity, med weight earthy diffuse black cherry iron, finishes with a creamy note and bitter residue that gives a mildly rustic note to the med/med+ tannins -really quite good very early on its prime plateau, plenty of structure to last

IPNC Weekend 2023; 7/26/2023-7/31/2023: Dark red color. PNP, drank two glasses over an hour. Lonny's bottle, and a great way to cap off an excellent dinner at the Bistro in Cannon Beach. Love this nose, there's layers of minerality, graphite, dry earth, more subtle dark fruits with a slight vegetal note that gradually show some pretty, deep red berry notes and rose petals. The palate has a strong vein of spice, graphite and iron, with leather, black cherry. This is dense, yet still lifted with medium grained tannins. Really in a good spot.

IPNC bottle shared at dinner. Was a little concerned about the nose at first but things quickly blew off revealing a dark and earthy presence. Dark fruits, spice, mineral backbone, soil, yup a lot going on and in a nice spot.
