In my view, a very tasty wine for a reasonable price. Great flavors of butterscotch and some depth. It was a crowd pleaser. Only have one more bottle and wish I had more.

Popped and poured. Medium-light yellow gold hue. Waxy aromas of stone fruits, pear, honey, and a touch of butterscotch. Medium-light body, a bit more substantial on the palate than the Grand Estates. Flavors in mouth show an interesting combination of tropical fruits combined with subtler notes of citrus and hints of spice from oak. Certainly possesses an oaky note of buttery popcorn on the moderate close. Well-balanced, with a decent level of acidity which keeps the flavors fresh. A decent, sub-$20 Chard that should drink nicely over the next 1-2 years.

Good, typical California Chardonnay. Custardy pineapple and citrus. At $20, a reasonable value but unexceptional.
