I didn't see any signs beyond the gold color that is prematurely aging, but it's advisable not to hold wines with extruded synthetic corks for long periods. Quite enjoyable, raisined and showing good "wild" ice wine character. Certainly the best cryoextracted ice wine I've had, and a good value. Enough acid so that the lots of sugar really goes with dessert, something I don't usually find with dessert wines. Very Good+.

Drank at Morton's in Stamford with Bryan and Bob. Bold honey, apricot, and peach nose. This wine is delicious. Mango, papaya taste. Long satisfying finish.

Unwilling to score this because I have very little experience with dessert wines. Honeyed apricot and peach. Some acidity keeps the finish somewhat lively. Alcohol and sweetness becoming more pronounced as it warmed up. Better well-chilled, but I guess that's true of all dessert wines.

(Standing Stone Vineyards Vidal Blanc Ice Wine) Honeyed and rich, it is nicely balanced with fresh acidity. The flavors are layered and complex with peach, pear, apricot, rose petal and lychee mingling on a succulent, long-lasting palate.

Very thick and rich. Peaches and melon on the nose. A little syrupy, but still very good.
