13.0% - Clear, med ruby / clean, med intensity - raspberry, red fruit candy, violet, white pepper, mineral / dry, med- acidity, light body, low tannin, med to low intensity, a bit thin and doesn't quite deliver on the palate side. Hopefully this will open up and deliver what the bouquet is suggesting ... Finally, the palate remained relatively shut. I guess not a memorable vintage that should have been consumed earlier.

Nice typical nose. Plenty of red fruit with red cherry and cranberry. Sometimes turns a littl darker. Granit like notes with some fennel. Good balance. Honest and enjoyable Morgon.

Victim of vintage switcheroo here; this was supposed to be the 2007. A bit bland at first, just a drinkable, easygoing quaff of soft, fresh raspberry fruit, no hard edges but not much personality, either. But it does improve a bit over the course of the bottle. It doesn't pick up a whole lot of character but does develop a light lacing of crushed granite that gives you something to think about just when you're itching to move on to something else.

Bright red fruit, minerality, nice acidity, slight spice, slight funk. Really enjoyable.

This was a good, solid effort, but an unremarkable Morgon. Served well as our turkey wine.
