Very dark red color. The nose is quite complex, with red and dark fruit, and a very gamy character. The is dense and powerful on the palate, Grand Cru quality indeed, with great structure and balance. Very long finish. Nice.

La Paulée Zachy's Auction Friday (Le Bernardin Privé): Surprisingly approachable for a young Chambertin. Lots of ripe and rich fruit that envelopes the structure. Fun to drink but a little simple. I suppose this has upside to gain depth and complexity.

Pnp, color is bright garnet. Nose is spicy with some bright red fruits. On palate, there is ample fruit sweetness and acidity, some oak spice, tannin still slightly grippy but not intrusive to let one enjoy the long after taste of hawthorn. Nice and shall continue to evolve which is not the typical Chambertin but rather akin to Griotte.

Chambolle & Gevrey BYO (Grand Hyatt Hong Kong): Slightly corked, but good controlled ripeness and blue fruit balance with some clean herbal notes. 92

Some Wine Tasted at the Zachys La Paulée Auction; 3/7/2019-3/8/2019 (Le Bernardin Prive - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. Black fruit, charming and accessible with fun, forward character. Good+ density. Good now.
