Yellow-gold color. Ripe lemon, ripe yellow apple, just hints of toast. Crisp and complex on the palate, with a long finish. My bottle showed as fairly youthful still, compared to some of the other tasters. Either way it’s an excellent champagne and drinks very well right now.

Still cruising along in a peak/late-peak drinking window. Loads of concentration and energy, with fruit that is just starting to show some mushroom and earth character, which in small doses is a lovely add-on here. I will drink my last bottle in the next 12 months or so.

A really great bottle tonight, this has so much bright lemon, green apple, yellow apple, and then even so much more. Great length and balance.

Drinking well now. Crisp and precise with tight bubbles. Citrus and mineral with just a touch of toast. No rush here.

Holiday Champagne Gala (Wilmette Harbor Club): Walkaround gala tasting. Magnum. Bright and lively with so much apple and pear. Very good weight, great balance and finesse.
