My first Gary's. Very solid wine and still drinking great with 11 years under its belt. Bigger style pinot that has lost nothing as far as fruit or structure. Drink over the next 3 years.

As usual, KB doesn't disappoint. A magnificent fruit bomb, delicious and plush on the mouth. So enjoyable with our salmon. My favorite California PN (but now Michael and Dan are gone, so sayonara?).

What a rare treat it was to drink this wine. It was as fresh as anything, but with more depth and polish than I can remember any K-B wine has shown before. Initially there was a streak of acid and minerals that accentuated the intense fruits captured in the wine. With time the acidity and minerality moved to the background and the intense red and dark red fruits came more forward. What a treat indeed. Complexity, purity, and place all seemed to shine in the glass. The wine showed no sense of being on a downward trajectory. I wish I had a few more bottles.

Did not get a real taste of this at our dinner party. Our guest loved it so I guess it was pretty good.
