  Colour - Dark red, thick legs down glass (no surprise as its 16%+ !)
  Nose - Fruit forward, some spices and touch of leather
  Taste - Still plenty of fruit left, dark fruits including blackberries and some slight prune notes, but actually very easy to drink without the alcohol poking through.
  I quite enjoyed this which surprised me.

  Purpling and deep red. Glass coating consistency. Bright fruits, spice and oak although a little too much burn on the nose. Palate is still dominated by alcohol, particularly on the attack, but there is also powerful, spicy black fruit and oak evident on the finish. Over time the alcohol became better integrated and the fruit really began to stand out. Recommend that this is given about three hours aeration.
