High pitched nose of raspberry and also some earthiness in the direction of tree bark. Medium weight. High acidity characteristic of Burgess, which I always enjoy. Simple but well balanced food friendly wine.

I don't know why but I didn't have the highest expectations for this. I thought it would be past its peak, and wouldn't be in league with Burgess' cabs and blends. Like all Burgess', it didn't disappoint. Drinking very well now

I expected more. The nose of dark fruit, smoked bacon and some petrol. A bit thin on the taste. Did it pass it's prime?
