I remain really impressed with this wine. Fruit and subtle sweet tobacco leaf stand out on this medium bodied charmer. A smoky nose is followed by a whole lot of balance and finesse on the palate. Finish is solidly medium. I still want to get more.

I think Chris Pearmund is hitting his stride now. This is a deep, dark and rich new world version of a cab franc. There is sweet cigar-wrap tobacco on the nose and luscious plum with a licorice aspect on the palate. Spice and earth round out the wine. There is a little bit of black olive that comes out in the presence of guacamole. Fun. Finish is medium to long. Very nice wine.

A brooding and sweet-seeming deep, dark red. There is sweet cigar-wrap tobacco on the nose and luscious plum with a licorice aspect on the palate. Spice and earth round out the wine. Finish is medium to long. Very nice wine.

Cherry on the nose. Notes of fruit, and pepper on the palette, with a hint of tobacco on the finish. This is a solid cab franc.

I think that Chris Pearmund is on it. This wine is dark with fruit, spice, and an edgy sort of caramel effect. Really nice. Need to get more.
