last bottle, and what a stunner! I've been fortunate to drink 2 cases of this wine over the past 6 years, and it has been an absolute pleasure every time.
The wine is still young to me, and continuing to evolve beautifully. It's deep and rich, with beautifully integrated fruit and oak giving exceptional depth of flavour. It's still relatively dry, and with a lovely long finish.
I feel it will go on much longer for those who have some left!

Drunk alongside Rockford Sparkling Black Shiraz (2018 disgorge) and Seppelt Show Sparkling Shiraz 2004, and more than held its own.
Leaner and drier than the other 2, but full flavoured and long, and terrific drinking. At its peak I think, and years ahead of it.

Drinking very well. Not overly sweet and all the better for it

This wine is getting better with age.
Nose is slightly sweet and fruity.
Palate is dry, tobacco, cassis with a hint of spice. Very typical of a dry (non sparkling) clare valley red.
Drunk slightly chilled and got better as it was open for an hour.
