Unscrewed and poured. Color straw. Nose showing typical riesling aromas with some TDN. On palate this is more overtly sweet than the hexamer quarzit that we drank before it, and this really lacks the acid discipline to make it a good wine. Probably a little sweeter than it ought to be for a kabinett too. Anyway, it was inexpensive and not sad that this is my last bottle.

popped and poured. consistent with previous notes, pale straw color, nose peachy with minerals and salinity. on palate acid more prominent tonight but not out of balance with fruit. good length. worked well with mongolian beef.

pale straw color, nose with fruit and some minerality. on the palate, this starts out a little on the sweet side, but within a sip or two the acid backbone reveals itself and balances everything out. as before i am impressed by the gracefully balanced medium long finish, normally seen in riper versions of riesling.
