Golden, bright and hint of green to the color. Slightly toasty, smoky hint to aroma. Slight green aroma, as in spring growth or herbs. Some citrus, mango. Lemon verbena? Nice ripe flavors, presuming some barrel aging (together with aroma), and age of wine itself has mostly replaced fruity flavors and aromas with very interesting secondary aromas and flavors. Wine had aged very nicely; has not gotten earthy, mushroomy or oxidized.

Impromptu Columbus, Ohio WineBerserkers Offline (German Village, Columbus, Ohio): Light color. Pineapple and minerals on the nose. Acid blast on the palate, med-light weight, some of the tropical pineapple/kiwi/citrus notes, but hidden by the acid. Would be nice with oysters.

Inaugural Columbus Ohio WineBerserkers Offline (Nick C's House): Fennel nose, with a crisp body of apple, a hint of seashell, and a hint of oak. I did not find this to be over the top oaky as some of the notes here suggest.
