(NV Bodegas Argüeso Manzanilla San Léon (375 ml)) A defining Manzanilla, aged eight to 10 years. Deep gold in color, with a mellow, mineral, yeasty nose tinged by hints of truffles. Complex notes of earth, wet loaf, old wood, and mushroom emerge on the palate. Appellation: Sanlúcar de Barrameda

500 ml. Decent Manzanilla. Briny and rich, but it tasted just a bit tired...not as lively as I hoped. I'm not sure when it was bottled. At $10 on closeout, it's a decent deal.

Last bottle , thankfully, this to be fair is a distinctive style of Manzanilla, it just doesn't work for me or anyone else who tasted it, the wood effect is over the top, but some must like it as it sells, so another example of different tastes.
