Wow, a rich mouthful of garrique, I have not had many wines from the south Rhone valley recently, and compared to the more acidic and medium-bodied Italian wines I have been favoring of late, this was great on a cold winter night as a nightcap. It was well-balanced and tasted of dark fruits and savory herbs. It still had enough acids to keep it juicy and light (enough), the tannins were unobtrusive, and it had decent length. A little burly, but typical for the region, very good for the price and still in a good drinking window.
This maker has been a very consistent source of good rhone wine for me over the years.

Nice wine and typical Vacqueyras with meaty dark fruit up front with fennel and herbs flavors folding into the mid pallete. Smokey and spicy notes mixing into more stewed red fruits on the finish where some dry tannins emerge. Certainly within prime drinking window, but could hold a couple more years too under ideal storage conditions and may improve a bit. Didn't blow me away though.

Lots of warm Grenache on the initial nose. Later turns to cough syrup and the palate matches. Well balanced but not the right flavor profile for my taste.

Big fruit but unresolved. Good acid and tannin, should keep. A bit expensive but promising Rhone.

Very new world and a little syrupy for my taste. But really not bad.
