This wine is 100% Nascetta, which is an autochthonous variety from the Novello region. This is quite floral on the nose. I've also got some passion fruit, ripe peaches and hints of honey...really nice on the nose. On the palate, this is full bodied (maybe "weighty" would be a better adjective) with silky texture and very good acidity. It was a perfect match for Gomes de Sá codfish. I really enjoyed the experience. Recommended!

Monthly Tasting Group HWS #056; Special varietals. (By RvD): Fresh and also aromatic and spicy in the nose. On the palate a bit fat with honey and peach and quite much oak. Reminds me of gewürztraminer.
