Clean nose of medium intensity, developing. Aroma characteristics: fresh, citrussy fruit with hints of minerality, dairy and oak (wet stone, butter, vanilla).
Dry on the palate with medium(+) level of acidity. Medium level of alcohol, medium-bodied. Medium(+) level of intensity. Aroma characteristics are mirrored on the palate, with an added note of peach. Soft mouthfeel, medium(+) length.
Within the uneven category of generic white burgundy this wine performs at top-level. Unfortunately it is two or three times more expensive than your average Bourgogne Blanc - but still worth trying, if by chance you should find yourself urging for a Meursault-light? Ready to drink, but can improve.
