A little difficult on day one - starts of nice but ends with a biting tartness. By day two it had settled down - a nice rose. A was slightly disappointed - hoping for something to go toe-to-toe with my favorites from France.

Depending on the light, salmon to pale orange hue. Medium-bodied, slightly effervescent, citrus, strawberry and wet stones. Perfectly balanced with a crisp finish. Juxtaposes the elegant and the refreshing. This is one of the best domestic Rose wines.

Glad I saved this one, it's holding up very well. Not a young rose but it has such a great texture.

Past drinking window. Beautiful initial bouquet but fruit faded instantly in mouth.
