Tasting during Napa visit. Very interesting wine. Nose was of an older Syrah (dark plum, smoke meat) but taste was mountain Merlot or cab. Lots of tannin with a nice balance of dark fruit. Medium long finish. Very enjoyable.

Decanted for 30 min and consumed for the next two hours. Dark in color. Nose is medium strong. Nice taste. Improved as time passed.
