  • 80% Roussanne/20% Viognier. 14.6% alcohol. Medium yellow color. At cooler temperatures, there is a Viognier influence with floral notes, honeysuckle, lanolin, and mineral. The acidity is brisk with a full, oily mouthfeel. As it warms, the wine takes a different, less crisp, mouthfeel and more lanolin and mineral. The finish is long. Overall, this went well with a hearty bean soup, but it is not a blend I typically enjoy.

  • The wine is a light golden yellow color. The light and flowery nose has honeysuckle, peaches, apples, orange blossoms, lemon curd, and stony minerals. This is dry with medium body and decent acidity. Nice fruit and flowers on the palate with just a touch of citrus zest kicking in on the back end. The finish has nice length and shows good minerality. I would have liked a touch more acidity on the finish which seems to go a bit flat. This was much better with a cheese platter then it was on its own afterwards.

  • Yellow-gold color. Aromas of lemon peel, nectarine, and floral notes. Heavy mouthfeel. A touch out of balance with a bit too much heat for my liking. I'm a big McP M fan, but this wasn't my favorite.

  • Gold with med-heavy viscosity in the glass. Grassy nose of nuts, stone fruit, citrus and vanilla. Full body with lemon oil, stone fruit, melon, vanilla and almonds on the palate. Oily textures. Not enough structure to hold its weight. Medium finish. Despite some disjointment, I still enjoyed sipping it at lower temps.

  • Pale straw color, slow legs. Light nose of jasmine, honeysuckle, peach, touch of oak. Big body and it flows across the palate with ease and down the pipe smoothly. I don't sense any of the heat from earlier reviews and I suppose one could want for more acidic backbone, but it's viognier and roussanne, not Sauvignon Blanc. Tried at various temps ranging from 44-54deg and it was good at all points. Maybe best with a good chill (about 46) I believe it's best days are in the next 1-3 years 4+9+16+8 = 87
