  Deep purple to garnet at the rim. Very nice expression of cool climate syrah. Shy nose. Lighter body, with an acidic profile and high in alcohol (14.5%). Although, rather integrated - the high acidity tended to offset the higher alcohol. Softer, silky tannins. Black fruit flavors of plum & blackberry with white pepper and a touch of bitterness on the finish. This is not everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed it. Great QPR.
