  Full bodied California Cab with dark cherry, cassis and blackberry. Paired well with braised short ribs.

  Bottle was so much different than the Far Niente 2007 we consumed in our pairing. Far Niente had much longer it could go but the Nickel & Nickel was far more ready to drink. It started with funk on the nose and that blew off an hour after opening.

  Served with lamb at Easter dinner. A delicious, straight-forward, full-bodied Cab. All enjoyed this wine.
