what was once flabby and clumsy has turned into watery cat piss. tastes advanced and oxidative, verging on vinegar, terrible. i poured this down the drain.

Agree with Andrew R on this. Wine was too sweet and round and had insufficient acid to balance out the sweetness. I finished the glass but will have trouble finishing the bottle.

Unusually advanced (not in a flawed or bad way!) with outrageously expressive beeswax, honeycomb, and pear fruit action. Great acidity structures the wine, which would otherwise be unctuous. Very difficult to put the glass down. It does have a very fresh yet slightly oxidative aspect that reminds me of excellent Anjou blanc (e.g. Leroy and Mosse) or Vouvray with a decade on it, so I'd be interested to see if a second bottle is consistent with this one. Given how much I dug this wine, buying more bottles of this is a no-brainer.

Continues to drink well. Crisp and stony palate with a lengthy finish.

Apple, mineral, floral palate with a bit of sweetness. Could use a bit more acidity.
