Translucent straw. Aromatics of allspice. On the palate, medium-bodied with green apple, nutmeg and cinnamon notes. A delightful wine, but with a finish that comes up short.

Sineann wines and whole bunch of other stuff (Our home): So when I first starting tasting the Sineann whites (circa 2002), the Gewurzs were always the weak sister for my palate. Lacked typicity. IMO, that changed around 2006 and they have been firing well since then. This one has a more "Alsatian" profile if you will. Nice nose with lychees and minerals. Lush texture. Goes very well with food. I think it needs a year or two to develop more.

Absolutely gorgeous lychee nose, with lychee and a crisp minerality on the palate. I love gewurz, this was the first I've had from Oregon, and if this is any indication of how nice they are, I will be seeking out more.

Leslie visits Cleveland - Part 2: Delicious and a crowd pleaser. Dryer than the 07. No bitterness. Refreshing and complex. Really nice.
