80/10/10 with Cab Sauv and Franc blended in. French, American, Hungarian oak. Pretty light fruit for Merlot, but big structure behind it. This might need time. Kinda Old World in style if there is such a thing for Merlot.

Really well balanced, great tannic structure, especially as it opens up, bright rich red fruits like raspberries and dark cherries. Some dark berry fruits as well, nice acid. Great QPR-shoulda picked up more at the winery!

This bottle surprised me. More in the old world style - a mix of fruit and earth, with little oak flavors. A lot of strawberry and blueberry on the nose. Concentrated flavors of cherry and raspberry and a little moss at the end (almost Burgundy-like, which is really surprising in a Sonoma Merlot). Lovely and great QPR.
