Popped and poured this on Monday night for a quick glass. Not much on the nose full bodied, pretty much like the last bottle, several weeks ago. Now, 3 days later, after sitting on the shelf...this wine is singing. Flavors of casis, dark chocolate and lovely integration of oak/vanilla...along w/a dash of smoke. Reminds me of the Buena Vista cabs from Calif.in the 80's. Man, what a cool surprise. One to look for, should age for 5-7 years +.

Popped and vinturi'd, enjoyed w/ sauted pheasant. An aroma of dark fruit and deep dark chocolate. Full bodied w/a matching flavor profile, pretty good from the state of spuds...
